Well, where to start.
I’ve been a failure at most everything I’ve tried. Probably due to lack of smarts and ambition. Didn’t live up to expectations in High School. Did even worse in college, despite trying 2 different majors. Discovered I was a slow reader and my memory chip has a number of bad sectors. Failed in love (on 3rd marriage). Failed at golf (just ask the FATSO players how that works out.) Failed in a Photography business. Worked for a Sewer department for more than 30 years, (probably because I can’t smell). I blame it all on my Senior prediction! Seems like life was just one big pile of crap (and after working for MSD for over 30 years, I know crap). Worked through it all till my folks generation in Cincinnati all passed and I retired in 2003. Then my wife and kids and I packed up and moved west. Now here we are in Fort Collins, Colorado. Hmmm..… not working; taking lots of photographs; riding my motorcycle whenever I want to; hiking in the mountains whenever I want to; playing golf whenever I want to; fishing whenever I want to; going shooting whenever I want to; going kayaking whenever I want to; volunteering as a Master Naturalist for the City of Fort Collins; patrolling mountain trails as a Poudre Wilderness Volunteer for the Forest Service; teaching Map and Compass, GPS and Wilderness Survival. Well, finally, maybe life ain’t so bad after all! Brother John said it best….”you belong in Colorado, but you just got stuck in Cincinnati for 55 years”.
Looking forward to seeing all you successful people at the reunion !!! Oh and what's with most everybody's compasses in Cincinnati...they all seem to point to Florida!

Was never a drinker, hated the taste and couldn't hold it, but did manage to smuggle beer onto the bus going to a Chorus contest Senior year. Bavarians I believe. I didn't even turn 18 till I was in College. Stupid stunt, as I was prone to do. I blame it on Mark, who bought me my first beer that we drank in Stansberry Park.

God I hated band ! So glad I dropped it and picked up Chorus Senior year.

Does anyone remember the "haunted" house back in the woods on 9 mile, or the campground down on 5 mile or drag racing in the parking lot of the then Jr. High off Beechmont? How about the Sugar and Spice restaurant in Reading for a slice of hot apple pie with cheese.

I remember taking Mr. Furrier's Mustang for a joy ride on the way to get it washed at one of our money raising car washes. Shhh don't tell!
