Patricia Bowen Schroeder

Got married, had 2 kids, got divorced and then met a wonderful younger guy, Gary. We moved to Texas and I became an RN. His job moved us to England and then France for 4 years but we finally got back to the greatest country in the world, the USA. We have been back in Texas since 1999 and I got out of nursing and into retail until I kind of retired about 3 years ago. I say, kinda, as I now watch a friend's 2 little girls and they help keep me young.

Don't know if I'll ever move back to Ohio. I have to go where my husband's job takes us. At least I do get to visit several times a year as my daughter lives moved back from Texas and married her high school sweetheart. I miss seeing my granddaughter. I always wanted to be one of those grandmas that baked cookies and had grandkids over all the time. Now I text my grandsons who live in North Carolina and talk on the phone to my granddaughter. Things don't always work out as we planned. I never thought I'd leave Cincinnati and here I am in Texas.
