BARKLEY Barbara (nee Wiggeringloh), beloved sister of Jeff and aunt of Katherine preceded in death by her husband Brian. Resident of Southgate, Kentucky, former Social Studies Teacher for the Forrest Hills School District, Anderson Middle School, secretary to Forrest Gregg of the Cincinnati Bengals and most recently Program Coordinator for the Fire Science Program at the University of Cincinnati. Her zest for life was matched by her courageous fight against cancer. A memorial service for Barbara Barkley will be held Monday, November 29, 2004, 7 P.M. at Zion United Church of Christ, 2332 Sherwood Lane, Cincinnati, OH 45212. The church is located at the corner of Montgomery Road and Sherwood Lane in Norwood. The family honored her request for cremation. The Barbara A. Barkley Scholarship Fund has been established in the Open Learning Fire Science Department of the College of Applied Science through the UC Foundation. The fund will benefit firefighters needing educational assitance. A faculty member contribution of $5,000.00 initiated the fund and the gift has been matched by the Workforce Development Scholarship Fund. Contributions to the memorial fund may be sent to Anthony Ricciardi, UC Foundation, 2220 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati, OH 45206-2839. Please make checks payable to the UC Foundation, Barbara A.
